Compostable Materials

PLA (polylactic acid) is a biodegradable and compostable bioplastic derived from renewable resources like corn starch, making it an eco-friendly alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics. PLA is best suited for cold and moderately warm foods due to its lower melting point. CPLA (crystallized polylactic acid) is a modified form of PLA that has undergone a crystallization process to enhance its heat resistance, allowing it to withstand higher temperatures and making it suitable for hot food and beverage applications.

Sugarcane fibre is a byproduct of the sugar extraction process from sugarcane, making it a sustainable and renewable resource.
